An independent consulting engineering, architectural and infrastructure services company delivering major transportation, water, energy and urban development projects worldwide. Due to continued growth across our UK infrastructure portfolio, we are seeking a talented BIM Coordinator to join our London team and support the delivery of high-quality digital engineering solutions.

The Role

As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting project teams by coordinating BIM processes, managing project models, and ensuring compliance with company and client BIM standards. You will work closely with engineers, designers, BIM Managers and project stakeholders to ensure efficient model production and coordination across multidisciplinary projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BIM professional who is passionate about digital engineering and collaborative project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate BIM activities across multiple infrastructure and engineering projects.
  • Develop, manage and maintain federated BIM models throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support project teams in the implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and project-specific BIM requirements.
  • Conduct model reviews and clash detection using industry-standard software.
  • Coordinate and manage model exchanges between disciplines and external stakeholders.
  • Support the production of BIM deliverables, model audits and quality assurance processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to designers and engineers.
  • Maintain project Common Data Environments (CDEs).
  • Assist with the development and implementation of digital delivery workflows and best practices.
  • Participate in project coordination meetings and client BIM workshops where required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a BIM Coordinator, BIM Technician or BIM Specialist within the engineering, infrastructure, construction or built environment sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of the following:
  • Autodesk Revit
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models.
  • Understanding of BIM standards, workflows and digital delivery processes.
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 and information management principles.
  • Experience using model coordination software such as Autodesk Navisworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience working on transportation, rail, highways, water or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise or BIM 360.
  • Knowledge of Dynamo, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Power BI or other digital engineering tools.
  • Professional accreditation or relevant BIM certification.
  • Experience mentoring junior BIM team members.
