An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to support the delivery of a major data centre development within a specialist structural engineering consultancy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading technically complex structural projects, managing client relationships and delivering practical engineering solutions from design through to construction.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a major long-term data centre project, working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams while providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
The Role
- Leading the structural design and delivery of a major data centre project
- Producing structural calculations, technical reports and engineering specifications
- Managing projects from concept through to construction
- Liaising directly with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams
- Attending site visits and providing technical support throughout project delivery
- Reviewing structural designs and resolving technical challenges
- Supporting project planning, programme delivery and technical coordination
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality standards
