Our client seeks a motivated, results-driven professional to join their team on a permanent, hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week on-site in North Acton or South Ruislip. Our client is a prominent contractor specialising in sectors such as data centres, education, healthcare, rail, industrial, defence, and highways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Stage 5 Design Deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions from the supply chain.
- Implement and align design processes, addressing deviations and exceptions.
- Coordinate with Stage 5 suppliers and the Design Integrator, handling supplier queries and collaborating with teams.
- Ensure designs prioritise maintenance, health, safety, welfare, and adherence to design management plans.
- Work with quality, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure efficient outcomes.
- Assist the commercial team with cost reconciliation and subcontract management.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in MEP design management, including detailed design and knowledge of relevant policies and standards.
- Proven experience in large-scale design environments.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within teams.
- Experience applying the Construction and Design Management Regulations 2015.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
