Job Summary

We are looking for a confident, detail-oriented and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This role has a strong focus on email marketing and audience engagement, supported by social media activity and direct outreach to key industry segments. You’ll play a crucial role in growing and engaging audiences across our industry-leading events by crafting compelling email campaigns, building targeted data segments, and working closely with internal teams to ensure our messaging resonates with the right people at the right time. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive marketer with 2–3+ years’ experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to develop their career within international B2B events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create and execute email marketing campaigns across the full event lifecycle (pre-, during and post-event) to drive engagement and visitor registrations.
  • Build and manage segmented data lists to deliver targeted, relevant messaging to key audience groups, including VIPs and strategic partners.
  • Analyse email and campaign performance using reporting tools and insights to continually optimise engagement and conversions.
  • Contribute to the growth of event audiences through research, targeted outreach and relationship building.
  • Support social media activity, in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
  • Assist with community building and relationship management across priority audience segments.
  • Collaborate with Event Directors, Conference Directors, Sales and Marketing colleagues to identify key audiences and align messaging.
  • Write clear, engaging copy for emails, newsletters, social media and other marketing materials.
  • Maintain organised records of marketing activity and campaign performance.
  • Support on-site audience engagement at events when required.

Requirements & Skills

Essential:

  • 2–3+ years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally within B2B and/or events.
  • Strong experience using email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Dotdigital, HubSpot).
  • Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to produce engaging, persuasive audience communications.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Positive, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and use initiative.

Desirable:

  • Experience building and managing marketing data lists and segments.
  • Social media management or community engagement experience.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Experience supporting international events or exhibitions.
