BlueOptima is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and commercial success of our newly acquired Active MultiSite product suite. This role is responsible for leading our expansion into the enterprise DevOps infrastructure market, defining the vision for how we provide unparalleled performance, availability, and security for the version control systems that power the world’s most innovative companies.
The ideal candidate is a deeply technical product leader with a passion for building highly available, performant, and secure on-premise solutions for demanding software development organisations. This role demands both operational excellence and strategic thinking to identify and validate new markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and execute a product strategy that solidifies our leadership in active-active replication for Git, Gerrit, and Subversion.
- Roadmap Ownership: Own and manage the product roadmap from conception to launch, prioritising initiatives based on customer needs and market opportunities.
- Strategic Incubation & Market Expansion: Identify, validate, and prototype new market opportunities for the core technology.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver a reliable, scalable, and secure on-premise product.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Work with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to articulate our unique value proposition.
- Integration Leadership: Define and execute on an integration strategy with BlueOptima's core software engineering analytics platform.
- Market Evangelism: Serve as the product evangelist and primary subject matter expert for internal teams and customers.
- Customer Advocacy: Engage deeply with enterprise customers to understand their challenges and ensure our product delivers tangible business value.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on enterprise-grade, on-premise infrastructure software.
- Deep technical understanding of version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and challenges of globally distributed software development.
- Experience managing products sold via a high-touch, enterprise sales motion to technical buyers.
- Strong technical background and credibility, comfortable discussing complex architectural topics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead through influence and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Background working with enterprises in highly regulated or security-sensitive industries.
- Experience with consensus protocols or replication systems.
- Exposure to platform engineering, SRE, or disaster recovery practices.
- Hands-on experience as a software developer, DevOps engineer, or SCM administrator.
- Experience with products in the high-availability, disaster recovery, or data replication space.
