Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file personal (T1) tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Review client documentation and ensure completeness and compliance with CRA requirements.
- Communicate with clients to gather missing information and clarify tax‑related questions.
- Stay current with Canadian tax laws and updates relevant to the 2025 tax season.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping or administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience preparing Canadian personal tax returns (T1) is required.
- Familiarity with tax software such as Cantax, TaxCycle, Profile, or similar.
- Strong understanding of CRA guidelines and tax credits/deductions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple files.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Assets
- Experience with self‑employed, rental income, or investment income returns.
