- Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Support service users with eating and drinking, following nutritional and hydration care plans
- Assist with moving and handling in line with training and risk assessments
- Observe, monitor, and report changes in service users’ physical or mental health
- Support emotional and social needs, promoting dignity, respect, and independence
- Assist with basic clinical tasks as appropriate (e.g. taking vital signs), in line with training and competency
- Maintain accurate and timely care records and documentation
