We are looking for a Care Coordinator to join our brilliant team in Worthing, covering Shoreham, Lancing, and Worthing. This crucial role ensures our clients receive exceptional care. The role involves organising schedules based on clients' requested call times and care professional availability, as well as maintaining effective communication with staff, clients, families, and professionals. This role is currently a 60% service-based role; you would be expected to cover care calls as required.
What will you do?
- Producing weekly rotas and care scheduling to ensure adequate provision of care
- Undertake regular care visits including being available evenings and weekends when needed
- Daily troubleshooting and problem solving
- Managing staff absence, allocating calls, and cancelling care calls when necessary
- Assisting in the training and induction of new team members
- Facilitating GoodOaks in providing a continuous and reliable service
Who are you?
- You are a highly organized and efficient co-ordinator with a people-focused approach
- You are a strong communicator with all types of people and have the ability to remain positive
- You are IT confident enabling effective scheduling, team contact, and work planning
- You have experience using ACP or another care software package
- You are highly reliable and able to foster a strong team ethos and keep morale high
- You are growth-focused and support continued development of yourself and the team
- You are dedicated with high energy levels
- You are willing to undertake a DBS check to work with vulnerable adults
