The Perfect Candidate Will Tick the Boxes Below:

  • You’ll be a people person
  • You’ll already have the right to work in the UK (unfortunately we don't have a sponsorship licence!)
  • You’ll have at least 6-months care experience (any less and we can't move forward)
  • You’ll have cared for people before (and loved it!)
  • You’ll have tremendous confidence supporting and caring for people
  • You’ll have read the job description and thought “this job is for me!”
  • You’ll be able to write care reports that social workers love to read!
  • You’ll be motivated by making a difference to people’s lives
  • You’ll be reliable, hardworking, and all the usual stuff too!

WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DAY COULD LOOK LIKE:

  • 6:50am – Cruise to the person you’re supporting’s house
  • 6:57am – Make a cuppa, while you get a handover from the night staff
  • 7:24am – Support the person to get up and ready
  • 7:55am – Help make a delicious breakfast
  • 8:34am – Gather bags, water, and lunch for the day
  • 8:54 – Bathroom Break (you can do this whenever you want this is just an example!!)
  • 9:07am – Support person into their car
  • 9:13am – Drive to horse riding activity!
  • 9:47am – Support person to engage with horse riding activity
  • 11:38am – Support person back into their car
  • 12:03pm – Have lunch!
  • 12:38pm – Go for a walk
  • 13:16pm – Bathroom Break (again... no pressure to schedule these!!)
  • 13:35pm – Support person with medication
  • 14:14pm – Write up support notes from the day
  • 14:33pm – Handover to afternoon shift
  • 14:42pm – Enjoy the rest of the afternoon!

The Nitty Gritty: This is a Care Assistant/Support Worker agency role. Which means you get to pick when you work, but just as importantly you get to pick when you do not work! You'll be providing care and support to a range of care services, and as such the hours of work will depend on the service. We promise to let you know in good time before a shift starts! We’re looking for someone to start immediately, following our recruitment and training process.
