We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Coffee Shop Assistant at our busy Bakery & Coffee Shop located on Station Road, Hastings. As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, preparing and serving a variety of delicious coffee beverages and light snacks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our patrons.

Key responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers with a warm smile and friendly attitude
  • Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages
  • Operating coffee machines and other equipment in a safe manner
  • Handling cash transactions and maintaining a balanced cash register
  • Keeping the café clean and organized at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
