Senior Transmission Line Engineer to support Energy & Utilities clients within an Engineering & Design team. Lead overhead and underground transmission line projects from concept through construction, providing detailed design, engineering analysis, and QA/QC to ensure compliance with NESC, IEEE, and applicable utility standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop transmission line designs and perform technical analysis.
- Oversee design deliverables and execute QA/QC.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate requirements.
- Collaborate with clients on grid modernization and critical infrastructure initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Drive projects through construction support as required.
Qualifications/skills
- Strong expertise in transmission line engineering for overhead and underground systems.
- Working knowledge of NESC and IEEE standards, plus utility requirements.
- Proven ability to lead projects and coordinate across teams.
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing collaboration.
