Bluegate are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer who will be making an impact in a fast-paced, semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will be supporting the manufacture of cutting-edge products for global markets.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in developing, implementing and improving the systems used to control, report and model silicon wafer fabrication processes. Working closely with IT, Technology Development and Factory Engineering, you’ll help drive performance, efficiency and profitability across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop capacity and cost models for the full manufacturing process
- Manage reporting systems to support operational decision-making
- Own the MES route structure and setup
- Prepare output, cost and profitability metrics (historic and forecast)
- Identify capital improvement and expansion projects
- Lead value stream management to reduce cycle time, WIP and stock
- Contribute to cross-functional improvement teams
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or HND in Industrial, Manufacturing or Engineering discipline
- Proven Industrial, Process or Manufacturing Engineering experience within semiconductor manufacturing
- High level of IT literacy with excellent analytical skills
- Experience with MES systems (e.g. PROMIS) and BI/reporting tools
