Bluegate are proud to partner with a global electronics design and manufacturing company to find a talented Process Integration Engineer for their site based in the Greater Manchester area.
As a Process Integration Engineer, you will be expected to have a very good understanding of the processes & toolsets within all areas of the Wafer Fab. You should be familiar with all TVS process platforms and have a good portfolio of successful projects, either as a team member or leader.
Your main activities will be Development & Improvement of processes within a cross functional team. You should be able to prioritise your daily tasks to support Design, Product Engineering and Manufacturing.
Key Responsibility Areas- Prioritise your tasks to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.
- Facilitation of new product releases, including route coding on the manufacturing system.
- Able to understand and carry out device and process simulation TCAD.
- Key member of development team initiating new process developments to facilitate new and innovative product releases, ensuring that the new processes are stable and robust to ensure high yields during mass production.
- Key member in the design of new processes and manufacturing techniques, ensuring process performance aligns with both design for manufacturability and output expectations.
- Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
- A very good knowledge of discrete semiconductor processing.
- Device analysis – understanding of device physics to diagnose process, integration and instances of low yield. Understand behaviours and suggest improvements based on analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in Automotive or ISO9001 management systems would be nice.
