Bluegate have an exciting opportunity at one of our global clients, based in the Manchester area. Our client, based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, is looking for a Business Applications Developer to help ensure the effective operation of the company’s ORACLE R12 ERP system. This role will involve working alongside a small team within the European IT organisation that focuses on ORACLE ERP.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Configuration of the OSFM, WIP, BOM and INV modules of Oracle’s EBS manufacturing solution aligning the company’s business requirements with manufacturing processes.
- Integration of the Oracle ERP with other applications such as Manufacturing Execution Systems, Product Life Cycle Systems, Maintenance Systems, etc using real-time and batch APIs.
- Investigation and resolution of operational issues.
- Communication with members of the Oracle team, internal organisations and, potentially, 3rd parties to ensure changes are understood, agreed, and the implications of change recognised.
Required Experience
- Significant experience in Oracle R12 EBS Manufacturing Modules.
- Proficiency in configuration and deployment of change across the Oracle EBS Manufacturing Modules.
- Experience in integrating Oracle R12 EBS Manufacturing with a manufacturing execution system.
- Proficiency in the use of SQL or PLSQL.
