Bluegate are working with a global semiconductor design and manufacturing company based in the Greater Manchester area who are looking for an experienced Failure Analysis Engineer to help improve product reliability, yield and quality with their production facility.
Key Skills and responsibilities
- Failure analysis and root cause identification
- Perform electrical and physical failure analysis on semiconductor devices
- Knowledge of tools such as SEM, EDX, X-ray, OBIRCH, FIB
- Investigate production issues and customer returns (RMA)
- Work closely with design, manufacturing, test and quality teams
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics or similar
- Experience in semiconductor failure analysis or reliability engineering
- Strong understanding of device operation and test data
- Hands-on, analytical problem-solver
