Bluegate are working with a leading British semiconductor manufacturing company based in Newton Aycliffe, supplying high-reliability products to the defence industry. As part of their continued growth, we are seeking a Yield and Integration Engineer to support process optimisation, product performance, and manufacturing excellence.
As a Yield and Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in improving device yield, supporting process integration projects, and driving continuous improvement across wafer fabrication processes. You will work closely with manufacturing, process, quality, and R&D teams to ensure robust, high-yield production.
- Analyse manufacturing data to identify yield loss mechanisms and drive corrective actions
- Support process integration across multiple semiconductor process steps
- Lead root cause analysis using statistical and problem-solving methodologies
- Drive yield improvement projects from investigation through to implementation
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related discipline
- Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing or high and medium volume manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of semiconductor processes and process integration
- Proven experience with yield analysis and data-driven problem solving
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and manufacturing data systems
