Job Description

Design Engineer – MOSFETs – Greenock – Excellent package including relocation assistance

Have you designed MOSFETs either within an academic of industrial environment? Is so, this could be for you.

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, simulation, and optimization of advanced MOSFET structures. You’ll work closely with process integration and characterization teams to translate simulation insights into manufacturable, high-performance devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize MOSFET devices using TCAD simulation tools
  • Collaborate with process engineers to define process flows and validate device performance.
  • Analyze electrical and physical data to refine design models and improve yield.
  • Support technology development from concept through to qualification and production.
  • Document design processes, simulation results, and device performance reports.

About You

  • Degree (BEng, MEng, MSc, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in MOSFET device design
  • Hands-on experience with TCAD simulation tools
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and fabrication processes.
