– Manufacture spare parts using lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.
– Diagnose and repair equipment faults, ensuring timely return to operational service.
– Assist with the installation and repositioning of machinery.

– Maintain detailed records and logs of maintenance activities.
– Uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices.

Essential Skills and Experience:

– Time-served engineer in machine tool fitting or equivalent qualification.
– Formal IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 qualification or equivalent.
– Valid UK drivers licence.
– Previous experience in a similar role within a comparable environment.
– Strong understanding of installation processes and current electrical legislation.
– Familiarity with planned and preventive maintenance.
– Proficiency in reading engineering/electrical drawings and using testing equipment.
– Methodical approach to systems and adherence to established work standards.
– Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
