Bluefuse is looking for a talented mid-level WordPress developer to join our team. At Bluefuse, we design, build and manage software and digital platforms for businesses that rely on these systems day to day. We focus on building solutions that are reliable, maintainable and built to last.
In this role you will contribute to the development and ongoing support of high-quality, accessible, enterprise level WordPress websites utilising custom themes and plugins. While WordPress will be your primary focus, you may also have the opportunity to work with other technologies including PHP (Laravel), depending on project requirements.
We are looking for someone who enjoys solving real problems, takes ownership of their work and is committed to delivering quality and dependable solutions with a strong eye for detail.
- Developing, building and maintaining accessible, high-quality custom WordPress sites
- Taking ownership of solutions, ensuring it meets quality, accessibility and maintainability standards
- At least 2 years of commercial experience in WordPress/web development
- Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
- Confidence working with PHP
- Proven experience building accessible, user-friendly websites
- Strong attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality results
- Experience with Agile, Git version control, code reviews
- Experience with Laravel
- Automated testing experience
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g. Angular / Vue / React Native)
- Exposure to mySQL or PostgreSQL
