Who we are looking for:
Willowgate Adventure Centre is currently seeking highly motivated and appropriately qualified Casual Instructors to join our bank of casualstaff. Could this be you?
The successful candidate for this post will bring a good level of knowledge to the table and play a vital role in the successful operation of a busy outdoor adventure centre.
You will have previous experience of an activity centre / outdoor education setting and demonstrate the right aptitude to follow instruction as well as use good initiative to run a broad paddlesports and land focused programme of activities both on site and off site.
Essential and Desirable Qualifications
Paddle sport safety and rescue (Essential)
Paddle sport instructor (Essential)
Paddle sport leader (Desirable)
Sea Kayak Leader (Desirable)
NCC Coasteering Guide (Desirable)
Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Supervisor / Assessor (Desirable)
Archery GB (Desirable)
Bushcraft Level 2 (Desirable)
All other land based activities will be signed off in house
Work would be on an adhocbasis and we will endeavour to get to you available dates at least a week in advance, this could also include evenings. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee a minimum number of hours per shift,hours will be according to the business needs.
All applicants must have a clean manual UK driving licence, be over 18 years only and hold Level 3 First Aid Course (or be willing to obtain before commencing work)
PVG is required, but will be paid for by Willowgate. Holiday allowance will depend on how many days you work for us. Remuneration will be from £12.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.
