Our academy is now in its Ninth year and has achieved an Outstanding grading in all categories at Ofsted.

The future of outdoor education is exciting at ContinU Plus Academy with a new development at Cooper’s Mill, which is our own site in the Wyre Forest with the potential for forest school, cycling, and hiking. We are an educational provider for vulnerable and disengaged students in the Wyre Forest and Hagley area. All staff here are deeply committed to the wellbeing, safeguarding, and academic progress of our pupils. We work together as a close-knit team to ensure pupils at our school receive high-quality and bespoke educational provision. This is a wonderful time to join our school and make a substantial difference to the lives of our pupils.

About the Roles
We are ideally looking for a qualified Outdoor Education teacher or instructor with the ability to deliver some of the following: water sports, cycling, climbing, and hiking. The candidate we are looking for should be compassionate and a resilient staff member to join our journey.

In particular, we are looking for a Head of Outdoor Education who is able to deliver qualifications that can include GCSE, Entry Level, and Functional Skills qualifications across KS3, 4, and 5. We believe in engaging subjects with teachers who fully utilize interactive teaching methods in addition to the more formal approaches to engage a wide variety of learning needs.

Minimum Qualifications
MIAS or equivalent Mountain Leader, RCI Paddle Sports Instructor, 16 Hour Outdoor First Aid.
