Are you passionate about creating impactful travel experiences and have a sharp eye for detail and logistics? We’re looking for a dynamic Destination Planning Manager to join our Operations team and lead the development of high-quality, safe, and enriching expedition itineraries across the globe for young people.

About the Role

As Destination Planning Manager, you’ll take ownership of planning and managing bespoke and scalable expedition itineraries for specific destinations that meet customer needs, reflect our brand values, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and commercial performance. Working closely with overseas partners and internal teams, you’ll bring travel plans to life from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, cost, and manage high-quality expedition itineraries from start to finish
  • Build and manage relationships with third-party suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with safety and risk management protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Flights, Finance, and Leader Placement) to align logistics and planning
  • Conduct and update risk assessments, monitor global developments, and provide clear safety guidance
  • Maintain all planning documentation and systems, ensuring accuracy across itinerary packs, medical summaries, and financial tracking
  • Contribute to product development to improve and expand our global travel offering

We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in travel planning, operations, or product management (particularly in educational, youth, or adventure travel)
  • Passionate about travel and impactful life experiences for young people
  • Experience of travelling in South and Southeast Asia and Europe (Preferred)
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Confidence in managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial terms
  • A proactive mindset, capable of juggling multiple priorities
  • Solid understanding of risk and safety in international travel contexts
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • A sharp eye for detail and logistics
  • Experience working with systems such as SharePoint and CRM/workflow tools is a bonus
