As a Sales Administrator, you will support the Business Development team with a range of tasks. The role involves working collaboratively with the field-based team to hit their targets. It is focused on managing a deal from start to finish, from creating terms to supporting the underwriting team with documentation collection.
Your expertise will encompass knowledge of product and lending criteria, the ability to explain and guide brokers/stakeholders through the end-to-end process, and a high degree of system and process knowledge, coupled with an understanding of broker-specific requirements. You will be able to process Bluecroft Finance bridging applications from submission to completion accurately.
The Sales team is the frontline. Their efforts are instrumental in expanding Bluecroft’s customer base, ensuring that new customers fully utilise and benefit from Bluecroft’s comprehensive product range. Through strategic follow-ups and personalised engagement, the Sales Administrator role aims to turn every lead into a satisfied, loyal Bluecroft customer.
You will work alongside the Underwriting team to ensure high-quality applications are handed over. You will collaborate with them to drive quality, improve processes and efficiency, and find new ways of working.
Duties & responsibilities:- Check submitted loan applications from brokers/BDMs, ensuring they fit Bluecroft Finance lending criteria and progress to completion.
- Answer all telephone calls and queries from brokers/stakeholders within the timescales stated in the department's Service Level Agreements.
- Help educate and improve the quality of applications, liaise regularly with the Business Development Team, Head of Sales and MD to ensure continuous improvements in service levels.
- Process all outstanding items and ensure the broker is entirely up to date with their cases, keeping open channels of communication at all times.
- Work closely with the Underwriting team to ensure all clients provide the correct documentation and troubleshoot any issues along the way.
- Adhere to Company Policy incorporating: Broker Complaints, Data Protection Principles, IT Security Procedures and Health and Safety Policy.
- Comply with and/or ensure compliance with all Bluecroft Finance Data Protection Policies.
- A proven track record in the financial services industry, demonstrating sound business acumen within the sector.
- Experience in Bridging Finance is desirable but not necessary.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- An ability to manage changing priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
