Overview
Trainee Phlebotomist – Full Training Provided. This role is based in the Bluecrest Wellness team delivering high-quality health assessments across your region. The base salary is £27,783 per year plus commission, expenses, overtime and benefits. The role involves travel between venues and working on a rota basis.
Responsibilities
- Drive between allocated venues, set up your kit and greet customers for the day.
- Conduct health assessments as part of the chosen packages (includes PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, and short fitness tests).
- Provide advice on further testing where appropriate and update/maintain relevant administration records.
- Ensure high-quality service across multiple venues within the region.
- Deliver customer-focused service; you will not relay results or lifestyle advice after assessments are complete.

Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle; you will transport your kit to venues and may need to store items at home.
- Ability to work any days Monday to Sunday and any times 6am–10pm on a rota basis (6am–4pm, 8am–6pm, 1pm–10pm).
- Proficient with computers/tablets/phones
- Clear enhanced DBS (processed on your behalf)
- Be willing to travel up to 2 hours from home; occasional overnight stays may be required
- Live within a reasonable distance of the regional location
- Attend Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Mon–Fri, both weeks)
- Willingness to learn and take on new skills
- Enhanced criminal records check is required as part of onboarding
