Position

Mobile Phlebotomist – Full Time, 9‑Month Maternity Cover Contract, Field Based – Horsham, Cowfold, Crawley, Dorking, Redhill areas. Salary: £27,783 per year plus commission, overtime, expenses and benefits (pro rata depending on length of contract). Only applicants residing in Waltham Abbey, Tottenham, Wood Green, Walthamstow, Chingford, Loughton areas will be considered.

Responsibilities

You will be required to work 4 × 10‑hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week, at times between 6 am and 10 pm, Monday to Sunday. Hours will be allocated by our resource planner 3 weeks in advance. You will drive up to 2 hours to reach your venue of the day and may use public transport depending on the venue type. Each shift you’ll work in various venues across the region. You will plan your route, travel to the venue, set up your kit, and greet customers. You can expect to see 15–22 customers per day. You will perform health assessments including PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, and short fitness tests, and offer advice on further testing if appropriate. You will update and maintain all relevant administration records. You will not be required to relay results or further lifestyle advice after the assessments are complete.

Requirements

  • A Full UK License and access to your own car (and ability to store kit items at home when not working).
  • Availability to work any days between Monday and Sunday and any times between 6 am and 10 pm on a rota‑basis.
  • Proficiency with computers, laptop, phone, and tablet.
  • Clear DBS check (we’ll process this on your behalf).
  • Ability to travel up to 2 hours from your home location and occasional overnight stays where required.
  • Reside within the correct distance of the regional location of the role.
  • Ability to attend our Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new skills.
  • Enhanced criminal records check (covered by us).
