About the Role
Known internally as a Health Assessment Specialist at Bluecrest Wellness, you will play a vital part in helping people take control of their health and wellbeing. You will meet customers who rely on your support, reassurance and professionalism, and the impact you make can genuinely change lives. This role blends hands-on clinical work with meaningful customer interaction across a region and in a variety of well-presented venues. You don’t need a specific background; what matters most is your passion for health, love of meeting new people, and excitement for a role that combines clinical work with customer interaction. Empathy, accuracy and energy count. If you want a job that feels rewarding, purposeful and genuinely appreciated, this could be the perfect next step.
Responsibilities, Hours and Day-to-day
In this role, you will work 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours total) with shifts scheduled between 6:00 and 22:00, Monday to Sunday. The rota is created by our Resource Team and provided three weeks in advance. You will have the option to request 2 days in a calendar month when you cannot work. Travel is a regular part of the role and adds variety. You may need to drive up to two hours to reach your venue (travel outside your 10-hour shift). For drives over 1.5 hours, we provide paid accommodation and meal allowance. Depending on venue type, you may also travel by public transport.
At Bluecrest, you will deliver health assessments in welcoming, well-presented clinic spaces across your region, keeping your working environment engaging. Your day begins with planning your route and travelling to your allocated venue. You will greet customers, set up equipment, and conduct 15-22 customer appointments per day (10–45 minutes each, depending on package). Likely health assessments include:
- PADECG
- Phlebotomy (once qualified)
- Lung Function
- Body Composition
- And more
You will also offer guidance on appropriate further testing and maintain necessary administration. You will be the trusted first step in helping customers understand their health. Although you are not required to interpret results or provide lifestyle advice afterwards, you will ensure customers feel supported and informed. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where no two days are the same and the work you do truly makes a difference.
What We’d Like To See From You
- A Full UK License and access to your own car (you will transport your kit to venues and store kit items at home when not working)
- Ability to work any days between Monday to Sunday and any times between 6:00 and 22:00 on a rota basis (shifts: 6:00–14:00, 8:00–18:00, 13:00–22:00)
- Proficiency with computers/laptops/phones/tablets
- Clear DBS (we will process this on your behalf)
- Ability to travel up to 2 hours from home and occasional overnight stays
- Live within the correct distance of the regional role
- Attend Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Mon-Fri). If you live more than 1:30 from Milton Keynes, accommodation and meal allowances are provided
- Willingness to learn and take on new skills
- Ongoing satisfactory enhanced criminal records check (on onboarding) – covered by us
