Position: Trainee Phlebotomist

Field Based – Various locations in London.

£20,837.25 per year plus Commission, Overtime, Expenses and Benefits

Location notes: we are only able to consider people who reside in the following areas: Dalston, Hackney, Stoke Newington, Stratford.

Responsibilities

  • You will be required to work 3 x 10-hour shifts per week, totalling 30 hours per week, hours can fall between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday and allocated 3-weeks in advance.
  • You will be required to drive up to 2 hours to reach your venue; there may be instances where you will take public transport depending on the venue type.
  • Work across multiple clinic venues within your region to deliver high-quality health assessments.
  • Plan your route, travel to your allocated venue, set up your kit, greet customers, and conduct assessments ranging from 10 to 45 minutes per appointment depending on the package.
  • Perform various health assessments (e.g., PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, short fitness tests) and provide appropriate advice on further testing as appropriate. Update and maintain relevant administration records.
  • Not required to relay results or further lifestyle advice with customers after assessments are complete.

Requirements

  • A Full UK License and access to your own car (you will transport your kit to venues; ability to store kit items at home).
  • Ability to work any days Monday to Sunday and any times between 6am and 10pm on a rota basis (example shifts: 6am–4pm, 8am–6pm, 1pm–10pm).
  • Must be able to use computers/laptop/phone/tablet to a satisfactory degree.
  • Clear DBS cert (we will process this on your behalf).
  • Ability to travel up to 2 hours from your home location; occasional overnight stays may be required.
  • Live within the correct distance of the regional location of the role.
  • Attend our Milton Keynes head office for the first two weeks of training (Monday–Friday for both weeks).
  • Willingness to learn and take on new skills.
  • Onboarding requires a satisfactory enhanced criminal records check (covered by us).
  • All roles require a satisfactory criminal record check as part of onboarding.
