Overview

Trainee Phlebotomist – Full training provided! – ELD3 at Bluecrest Wellness

Field Based – Various locations in London. £20,837.25 per year plus commission, overtime, expenses and benefits.

Responsibilities, hours and day-to-day of the role

  • You will be required to work 3 x 10-hour shifts per week, totaling 30 hours per week. These hours can fall any time between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday and will be allocated by our resource planner 3 weeks in advance (rolling).
  • You may need to drive up to 2 hours to reach your venue; some venues may require public transport depending on location.
  • Maintain high quality clinic venues and work across multiple venues within the region.
  • Plan routes, travel to allocated venues, unpack and set up kit, greet customers, and conduct appointments (10–45 minutes per customer; 15–22 customers per day).
  • Perform health assessments based on chosen packages (including PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy once qualified, Lung Function, Body Composition, short fitness tests) and advise on appropriate further testing when suitable. Update and maintain all relevant administration records.
  • Do not relay results or lifestyle advice to customers after assessments (as per role requirements).

Requirements

  • A Full UK License and access to your own car (you will transport your kit to venues; ability to store kit items at home).
  • Ability to work any days Monday–Sunday and any times 6am–10pm on a rota basis (shifts are 6am–4pm, 8am–6pm, and 1pm–10pm).
  • Proficiency with computers/laptop/phone/tablet to a satisfactory degree.
  • Clear DBS (we will process this on your behalf).
  • Ability to travel up to 2 hours from home to perform the role; occasional overnight stays may be required.
  • Live within the correct distance of the regional location of the role.
  • Attend Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Mon–Fri for both weeks).
  • Willingness to learn and take on new skills.
  • On onboarding, a satisfactory enhanced criminal records check is required (covered by us).
  • All roles require a satisfactory criminal record check as part of onboarding.
