Thank you for your interest in our recent advertisement for the above position at Archway Learning Trust’s Bluecoat Trent Academy. The successful applicant will therefore be expected to work closely with SLT and be fully committed to developing the leadership and educational provision within Geography. This will include collaborating with staff across the Trust to design the overall Geography curriculum. Our Geography lessons should be fully inclusive whilst allowing students to excel in the different geographical disciplines.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing the Academy’s Teaching and Learning Framework with the Geography team over time. They will work hard to ensure that all children in the school achieve, whatever their starting point, and will be fully committed to going above and beyond to ensure our students receive the very best in terms of opportunity, education and care.
The successful candidate will be committed to the students and academy life and will possess the ability to communicate effectively and be able to raise the standards of learning for all of the students with whom they are required to work.
