This is an opportunity to join a profitable, dynamic distribution and manufacturing business at a pivotal stage in its growth.
Reporting to and working with the Head of People, you will partner with line managers across the business to embed standards, behaviours and systems for people management and development.
The aspiration is to develop managers to be fully accountable for people transactions across their teams.
The HRBP will support this process by ensuring managers have the information, support and capability to fulfil their responsibilities.
The initial focus of the role will cover resourcing, employee relations, people policy and systems utilisation.
As management capabilities develop, the role will evolve over time to look at the complete HR lifecycle with a move from operational delivery to a more strategic focus.
We are looking for an HR all-rounder who can bring with them experience across a breadth of areas including employee relations, resourcing, learning and development, performance management, workforce planning and HR systems.
You will be CIPD qualified (or qualified by experience), have a comprehensive understanding of UK employment law and have a commercial understanding of HR’s impact within a business.
Your experience will include fast-paced, customer-focussed environments, ideally in distribution, manufacturing or a similar sector.
Communication, both written and verbal, will be a core strength and you will have the ability to build collaborative working relationships across the organisation.
The role requires someone who wants to work hands-on inside the business, so it is an on-site position.
The salary on offer will be negotiable depending on what skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the position.
