This leading engineering contractor is looking for a planner who can build strong, reliable preconstruction programmes for enabling works, civils, structures and groundworks projects. If you’re confident with ASTA, project controls, and complex environments like cut & carve schemes in central London, this one could be of interest.
What you'll be up to:
- Build and maintain detailed precon programmes in ASTA Powerproject
- Set up solid project controls - tracking progress, reporting, forecasting.
- Spot risks and opportunities early and plan around them.
- Work closely with clients, designers, and internal teams to keep programmes accurate and realistic.
- Manage change control and keep documentation tight.
- Make sure everything aligns with company standards and best practice.
- Deliver clear, timely reports to senior stakeholders.
- Help drive improvements across the planning process.
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Early experience on site as a site engineer (or similar)
- Proven experience as a Planner in complex engineering projects
- Track record working for civil engineering contractors (ideally London)
- Strong ASTA and project controls skills.
- Experience with cut & carve, RC structures projects
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
