Estimator * Remote – regular travel across UK/Europe (all expenses paid) * Β£80k to Β£90k plus car/allowance, pension, healthcare Looking for a role where your estimating expertise makes a real impact? This is your chance to join a European market leader, delivering some of the most complex and high-profile industrial demolition projects across the UK and Europe. You\’ll take a lead on all things work winning, working closely with the directors. From heavy industrial plants and power stations to major infrastructure decommissioning, these guys are trusted for their technical excellence, safety-first approach, and innovative methods. Key responsibilities: * Review incoming tender documents, drawings, specifications etc * Carry out site visits to assess access, logistics, constraints, and risks. * Identify temporary works, environmental considerations, and asbestos, demolition, soil remediation requirements. * Produce detailed cost estimates including labour, plant, equipment, subcontractors, and materials * Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. * Develop and submit priced Bills of Quantities, pricing schedules * Prepare and present tender clarifications, qualifications, and value engineering options. * Present tender submissions to senior management for adjudication. * Attend post-tender interviews and client meetings. * Prepare handover packs for successful projects, including scope, assumptions, and allowances. * Support procurement of subcontractors based on tender values What you\’ll need: * Minimum 5 years’ experience as an estimator in demolition * Proven experience of pricing demolition works, including soft strip, structural demolition, high reach, and industrial dismantling. * Qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar. * Strong knowledge of demolition methods, sequencing, temporary works * Familiar with procurement routes and model forms of contract * Proficient in estimating software (e.g. Candy, Causeway, Conquest) * Full UK driving licence.
