We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor working on a complex cut & carve project in London’s West End.
This is a hands-on role working as part of the project team on a technically challenging scheme involving structural alterations, demolition and temporary works within a live and constrained environment.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, Site Team, engineers and specialist subcontractors, helping to make sure the works are properly planned, coordinated and delivered safely and efficiently.
The role will include:
- Supporting the Project Manager with the technical delivery of the project.
- Coordinating engineering activities, drawings, specifications and technical information.
- Working closely with temporary works and structural engineering teams.
- Managing RFIs, technical queries and design coordination.
- Supporting the planning and sequencing of complex demolition and structural alteration works.
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to the required standards.
- Assisting with site inspections, quality control and technical documentation.
- Working closely with the site team to resolve engineering issues and keep the project moving.
About you
We’re looking for someone with solid project engineering experience within demolition, structural alterations, cut & carve or specialist construction.
You’ll need to be technically confident, organised and comfortable working in a fast-moving project environment. Experience of temporary works, structural steel, propping, sequencing or complex demolition would be particularly useful as well as a track record working on central London projects.
