We are seeking a shift based Quality Engineer to work for a successful international manufacturing company based in Whitstable.
- This is a shift based role working the following rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday-Friday: 6am-2pm
- Week 2: Monday-Thursday: 2pm-10.30pm and Friday: 2pm-7.30pm
The salary (inclusive of shift allowance) will be £45,000-£47,500 dependent upon experience.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for Performing and Maintaining detailed records of Inspection Plans, ISIRS, and FAIRS.
- Developing Measurement Policies to reduce scrap in the machine shop.
- To be participate in product Design Reviews to promote repeatability and reliability for production.
- Conduct capability studies / gage R&R as directed.
- Carries out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
