We're partnering with a fast-growing technology marketplace that's just closed an outsized seed round, several times the size of a typical seed check. The founders are ex-McKinsey operators who've built and scaled companies before, so this isn't a first rodeo, it's a team that knows exactly what "right" looks like and is moving fast to get there. They're now looking for an ambitious, high-energy Junior Account Executive to join their lean, hands-on commercial team in London.

Quick Facts

  • Outsized seed round, several multiples bigger than a normal seed check
  • Founders are ex-McKinsey, with a track record of scaling companies before
  • OTE up to £140K

What They're Building

A fast-growing technology marketplace connecting two sides of a market that's still run on phone calls, spreadsheets, and word of mouth. Think: the trust layer and the transaction engine that lets both sides find each other, work together, and actually get paid, without the friction.

Location

In-office culture with extensive travel to meet clients.

What You'll Do

  • Run a full sales cycle, from self-sourced lead to signed deal
  • Build and mine your own prospect lists, sourcing contact data creatively when the obvious channels run dry
  • Partner directly with the founders to shape how the sales motion gets built, not just execute someone else's
  • Help write the playbook the next AE hire will follow
  • Early-stage pace, outsized seed funding, real ambition, no legacy process to unlearn
  • Founders who've scaled before and are genuinely hands-on with the commercial team
  • High-trust, high-ownership, you're judged on outcomes, not hours at a desk

Must-Haves

  • Grit and hunger, ambitious enough to want more than a comfortable seat at an established company
  • 1–2 years of closing experience with an outbound background (strong Senior BDRs ready to make the jump are very welcome)
  • Sharp and genuinely curious, the kind of person who's always asking why, and coachable enough to get better every week
  • A builder mindset, happy sourcing your own prospect lists and contact data, not waiting for leads to land in your inbox
  • Genuinely excited by early-stage, comfortable with ambiguity and no fixed playbook

Compensation

Why Join? This is a seat at the table while the table is still being built. Real funding, founders who've done this before and know how to win, and a commercial function wide open for someone to shape. If you're hungry, curious, and want to build rather than inherit, this is the one. Sound like you? Let's talk.
