Role Description: This role is responsible for driving new business and expansion across enterprise financial institutions, with a focus on regulated infrastructure and cloud solutions. The position blends direct sales with strategic partnerships, leveraging existing MSAs and deep client relationships to close high-value, long-cycle deals.
Key Collaboration: Works closely with global sales team (25 FTE) and senior leadership, reporting into the VP Sales Director.
Responsibilities:
- Own and close high-value enterprise contracts with Tier 1 banks, hedge funds, and asset managers
- Drive both net new sales and expansion within existing accounts
- Manage complex procurement cycles, including MSAs and multi-region deal structures
- Engage directly with CTOs, Heads of Infrastructure, Market Data, and Trading
- Execute a consultative, solution-based sales approach in regulated environments
- Leverage inbound, partner, and outbound channels to build pipeline
- Collaborate with product on private cloud and infrastructure GTM strategy
- Support development of strategic partnerships and indirect sales motions
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years in financial services technology as an Enterprise AE OR KAM
- Proven track record closing growth and new business in enterprise environments
- Experience with buy side, sell side, and private markets
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and exposure to private cloud solutions
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement cycles at major banks
- High autonomy and ability to navigate global, complex organizations
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in market data or infrastructure solution sales
- Familiarity with firms like Bloomberg, KX, FactSet, or Exegy
- Experience working with or through strategic channel partners
- Technical fluency in cloud architecture and regulated environments
