Are you looking to represent one of the most respected brands in Financial Crime Compliance, backed by the resources of a FTSE 100 organisation?

If you're an experienced hunter who enjoys owning a territory and closing high-value deals, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Our client is a global leader in Financial Crime Compliance, Identity Verification and Risk Solutions.

Trusted by many of the world's largest financial institutions, fintechs and enterprises, the company helps organisations combat fraud, money laundering and financial crime through market-leading technology and data.

With an established customer base across the Nordics and one of the broadest solution portfolios in the market, they continue to invest in its commercial team to accelerate growth across the region.

Why this role?

The Nordics remain one of the company's most strategic growth markets.

To capitalise on this opportunity, our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to take ownership of Sweden, Norway and Iceland, driving new logo acquisition while identifying expansion opportunities within existing enterprise customers.

You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing new business team supported by dedicated SDRs, Solution Consultants and Product Specialists, giving you everything you need to build a successful territory.

The role

As Business Development Manager, you will own the complete sales cycle across your territory - from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close.

You’ll focus primarily on winning new enterprise customers while also identifying strategic expansion opportunities within existing accounts.

Working with C-level executives and multiple stakeholders, you’ll lead consultative sales processes using MEDDPICC and value-based selling methodologies.

This is a highly autonomous role where you’ll build your own territory strategy, generate pipeline alongside SDR support and conduct regular face‑to‑face meetings with prospects across the Nordics.

  • What you’ll do
  • Own the complete enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through to contract signature.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan across Sweden, Norway and Iceland.
  • Win new enterprise customers while identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking and SDR-generated opportunities.
  • Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales processes involving C-level executives.
  • Deliver approximately 10 face‑to‑face customer meetings each month across your territory.
  • Apply MEDDPICC and Value Pyramid methodologies to maximise win rates.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Solution Consulting, Technical, Marketing and Account Management teams throughout the sales process.
  • Sell one of the strongest Financial Crime Compliance portfolios in the market, including AML, sanctions screening and Identity Verification solutions.
  • Join a globally recognised FTSE 100 organisation with an outstanding reputation across enterprise customers.
  • Territory with an established customer base and significant untapped growth potential.
  • Work alongside a high‑performing and collaborative new business team with dedicated SDR support.
  • Strong coaching culture, structured development and clear long‑term career progression.
  • Sell into enterprise organisations where your solutions genuinely solve mission‑critical business challenges.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Enterprise Account Executive closing roles.
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of the MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
  • A proactive, self‑sourcing mentality with a passion for winning new business.
  • Confidence engaging with senior executives and C‑level decision‑makers.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Nordics and attend approximately 10 customer meetings per month.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling Financial Crime Compliance, Fraud, Identity Verification or Compliance solutions.
  • Banking, Fin Tech or Reg Tech industry experience.
  • Ability to sell in Swedish, Norwegian or Icelandi
  • What you get
  • OTE of up to £150k with strong base salary

Uncapped commission with accelerators for new logo wins.

Electric Vehicle Scheme and season ticket loan.

If you're looking for an opportunity to own a strategic enterprise territory, represent one of the most respected names in Financial Crime Compliance and build long‑term relationships with some of the Nordic region's largest organisations, we'd love to hear from you.
