Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
  • Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
  • Manage their medication and prep their meals
  • Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
  • Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
  • Ability to work independently and part of a dedicated care team
  • Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
  • Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years Care Experience
  • Experience with complex care required
  • Experience with Parkinson's disease preferred
  • Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts
  • Follow care plans and Bluebird Care Policies
  • Commit to training, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Have a Right to Work in the UK without sponsorship
