Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
- Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
- Manage medication and prepare meals
- Take care of household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
- Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
- Work independently and as part of a dedicated care team
- Offer comfort and care during illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
- Maintain communication with the care team for support and guidance
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years Care Experience
- Experience with complex care required
- Experience with Parkinson's disease preferred
- Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts
- Follow care plans and Bluebird Care Policies
- Commit to training, professionalism and confidentiality
- Have a Right to Work in the UK without sponsorship
