We are looking for an experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our domiciliary care service on a permanent basis, supporting both our Newark and Nottingham offices. This role will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the services and will step up as Acting Registered Manager during maternity leave, ensuring continuity of leadership and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily management of domiciliary care services across two offices
- Supervise and support care staff in the community
- Ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care
- Assist with recruitment, training, supervision, and audits
- Carry out spot checks and quality monitoring
- Support care planning, safeguarding, and incident management
- Step up as Acting Registered Manager during maternity leave
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover when required
Requirements
- Experience in a senior or deputy role within domiciliary care
- Level 3 Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)
- Good knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexible to take part in on-call rota
