We are looking for an experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our domiciliary care service on a permanent basis, supporting both our Newark and Nottingham offices. This role will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the services and will step up as Acting Registered Manager during maternity leave, ensuring continuity of leadership and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily management of domiciliary care services across two offices
  • Supervise and support care staff in the community
  • Ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care
  • Assist with recruitment, training, supervision, and audits
  • Carry out spot checks and quality monitoring
  • Support care planning, safeguarding, and incident management
  • Step up as Acting Registered Manager during maternity leave
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover when required

Requirements

  • Experience in a senior or deputy role within domiciliary care
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)
  • Good knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Flexible to take part in on-call rota
