  • Coach, supervise and support a team of Care Experts, and give regular feedback to the Area Manager
  • Lead by example, setting the standard for conduct, professionalism and care
  • Carry out quality checks, spot checks, customer reviews and care plan updates
  • Support the Area Manager with compliance, safety and continuous improvement across the service
  • Deliver hands-on, person-centred care yourself when it is needed, including personal care
  • Record and report accurately, promptly and clearly, and escalated concerns through the right channels
  • Complete the administration that keeps the service running properly, with time in your week set aside for it

  • Annual appraisal recognition, Carer of the Month and staff recognition events
  • Qualified Mental Health First Aiders in the team, and genuine wellbeing support
  • Staff social activities, and charity and fundraising events
  • Previous experience within the health and social care sector
  • Experience of homecare or domiciliary care
  • Caring and reliable, confident working independently and supporting others to do the same
  • Basic IT skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
  • Able to work flexibly on a rota, including weekdays and weekends
  • An understanding of rota planning
  • Experience of care planning or risk assessments
  • NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care

Homecare experience is what we are ideally looking for, but if you have come from another care setting and are ready to lead a team, we would still like to hear from you.

How we will grow you

You will get a full paid induction and ongoing expert training from day one.

Beyond that there is specialist training and development, including extended skills such as PEG feeding and suctioning, and support to work towards your Level 3 or Level 5 if that is where you want to go.

We will back you with supervision, honest feedback and coaching, and there is a clear route into senior and management roles here for people who want it.

Everything you learn with us stays with you and builds your professional record.

  • Before you apply
  • You will need the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
  • DBS checking and references will be undertaken in line with government regulations and recruitment best practices.
