Bluebird Care is the UK's leading provider of private Care at Home. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable Care Assistants to join our growing team providing high-quality and much-needed service to vulnerable people across Lewisham & Southwark.

What you'll do

Our Care Assistants work in the community, providing essential support with everyday tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication support and companionship. You'll receive comprehensive training, paid shadowing and ongoing support while completing the Care Certificate, ensuring you feel confident and valued in your role.

Requirements

  • Kind, dependable healthcare assistants who genuinely care about improving the quality of life for vulnerable adults and are fully committed to delivering high‑quality care.
  • You must live in or within a reasonable commute of Lewisham & Southwark, have access to a car for work, and be a driver.
  • We accept visa transfers, but you must already be sponsored and based in our local area.

What we offer

  • £15.05 – £15.70 per hour post probation
  • Tax‑free mileage at 35p per mile
  • Paid DBS, paid shadowing and £336 training and passing probation
