We’re looking for a Female Live-in Care Assistant to support acustomer S in Penzance, living alongside him and helping him continue to live a full, active and meaningful life.
It’s important that the person joining us feels comfortable supporting his lifestyle and interests.
What the role involves
As a Live-in Care Assistant, you’ll be part of our team of Care Experts, providing consistent, one-to-one support while living in the customer’s home.
Your role will include:
- Personal care, delivered with dignity and respect
- Moving and positioning support
- Supporting daily routines while encouraging independence
- Providing companionship and practical support
- Supporting an active lifestyle, including social outings and events
This role follows a rolling 2 weeks on / 1 week off rota, giving you clear structure and regular time to rest and recharge.
About the customer
This role is dedicated to supporting one individual S, so it’s important that the person applying feels comfortable with his lifestyle and interests.
You’ll be supporting a customer who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and uses a powerchair full time. He leads a full and active life and values his independence.

- Listening to music
- Spending time with family and friends
- Getting out and about, including evenings out and social events
- Driving is an essential part of this role, as he has a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) and enjoys maintaining an active social life.
This placement would suit someone who:

- Is confident supporting social plans and changes to routine
- Values companionship as much as practical support
- Is calm, patient and respectful, while encouraging independence
Pay, rota and progression
