Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care. Your duties will include:
β Personal Care & Wellbeing :
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Encouraging and supporting medication routines
- Helping customers eat well and stay hydrated
β Daily Living Support :
- Shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Using mobility aids safely (e.g., wheelchairs, hoists)
- Maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment
β Companionship & Social Activities :
- Encouraging hobbies, games, and reminiscence activities
- Supporting customers with visits, appointments, and outings
- Helping with correspondence, phone calls, and social engagement
β Health & Safety Monitoring :
- Observing and reporting changes in health or wellbeing
- Recording care provided and liaising with healthcare professionals
- Following Bluebird Care policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols
