Responsibilities of Our Health Care Assistant Provide anti-discriminatory care and support that values the whole person. Respect each customer\’s preferences regarding their care and support. Assist with personal care tasks. Prompt or assist with medication (training provided), meal preparation, light domestic chores, and companionship. Use aids and personal equipment safely, respecting customer dignity. Monitor and record visit details on our PASS system. Report any changes or concerns to your line manager promptly. Manual handling training provided. Benefits Competitive salary: £9.50/hour during weekdays, £10.25/hour at weekends, and £15.50/hour on bank holidays. Paid travel time between calls at the basic hourly rate (£8.72/hour). Mileage reimbursement at 30p per mile (up to 45p on the Gov. website). Paid for short-notice cancellations. 20 days of paid holiday plus bank holidays after probation. Opportunities for career progression and further accredited training (NVQ\’s/QCF/NFCE).
