Role Overview
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be the key point of contact between our customers, care assistants, and office-based team. You will support our care staff, ensure compliance with care plans, and maintain the high standards that Bluebird Care is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Support care assistants in the field through regular supervision, mentoring, and training
Conduct customer reviews, care plan assessments, risk assessments, and spot checks
Ensure care delivery is person‑centred, safe, and aligned with individual needs
Respond to customer and staff queries effectively and professionally
Participate in the on‑call rota (with additional bonus pay)
Maintain accurate records in line with CQC requirements and company policies
Requirements
QCF/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using mobile/tablet systems
Ability to work under pressure, manage your time effectively, and support others
Preferred:
At least 2 years\’ experience in a senior care or supervisory role
Previous experience in domiciliary or home care
Familiarity with care management systems (preferred but not essential)
