A vacancy designed for those who can offer a lot to care, but need hours to fit around family life!

Bluebird Care – Where you change lives. We’re the best at what we do and it’s all thanks to talented people like you. As the leading Home Care provider, we take pride in our work - and we’re looking for a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our School Hours Care Expert Team and help us set the standard.

We are seeking a caring individual to join our 9.00am-2.30pm team. The position is designed for those who can offer a lot to care, but traditional hours such as early mornings, evenings and weekend work would not be best suited to their family life. Our '9 - 2.30' rounds mainly support our customers who do not require full‑time care, but rather those who might need one or two visits a week to help with personal care, household chores, or their weekly food shop. The role is varied, and you will visit a range of people who need just a little support to remain independent. A willingness to travel across our area to provide care is essential.

If you’re ready to take on a new challenge, supporting our customers with the best quality care, then this is where you belong.

  • Be a dependable, friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for

  • School Hours (9.00am‑2.30pm / Monday to Friday)
  • Full induction and ongoing expert training
  • Uniform and PPE provided
  • Regular support and ongoing career development
  • Friendly, inclusive team with 24/7 support
  • Health benefits package, with free physio, chiropractor, massage, and much more!
Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Ability to follow care plans
  • Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
