Providing Quality Care
At Bluebird Care Islington & Hackney, we believe that the quality of our staff in the field is what makes our reputation grow.
We are currently recruiting kind and caring individuals to join our established and growing team of Home Care Assistants. (Domiciliary).
Our Carers visit the homes of our customers to provide a range of care services which enable them to remain living independently in their own home across Hackney and Islington including N1, EC1, N7, N19, N4, N5, N16, E5, E8 and E9.

Our Care Assistants will:
- Support with personal care
- Provide companionship
- Prompt and/or administer medication
- Support with food preparation, domestic duties, and shopping
- Assist through Manual handling / using equipment where required
- Promote customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full
As a Care Assistant you will need:
- To have a valid right to work in the UK
- A genuine desire to care for others
- To be reliable, compassionate, honest and patient
- To be a resident in the Islington or Hackneyborough
- To have availability to work more than 20 hoursper week
- To work at least 2 evenings per weekand2weekends per Month as part of your regular schedule
- To be able to work a minimum ofAlternate weekends (including both Saturday andSunday)
Previous experience is desirable, but we also have an excellent training program for those without experience.
We can offer both full-time and part-time hours on a 0 hours contract. We provide care between 7am and 10pm, 7 days a week so working hours will include early mornings from 7am and, late evenings to 10pm, and Alternate weekend working.
We ask for a commitment to working a minimum of 2 evenings per week, andalternate weekends.
We can’t care for our customers if we don’t take care of our team so to make this possible, we offer:
- An excellent rate of £13.65ph on both weekdays and on weekends
- Increasing to £20.48ph on bank holidays.
- 25p mileage allowance (per mile)
- Full training induction and shadowing with a mentor on starting
- Ongoing training and support
- Smartphone technology so you can do everything at the tap of a finger
- Free uniform
