Salary: up to £36,000 DOE + paid mileage + bonus scheme

We’re looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Trainer & Assessor to join our approved and accredited Training Academy.

In this varied role, you’ll deliver engaging, high-quality training, assessment and learner support across in-house and regulated qualifications, helping learners build confidence, develop their skills and successfully achieve recognised Health and Social Care qualifications.

You’ll also develop, deliver and evaluate training materials, promote best practice and use a range of delivery methods to create a positive learning experience and maximise learner success.

Our Academy delivers Level 2 to Level 5 Health and Social Care regulated qualifications (RQF) through NCFE, including the Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care.

This role involves national travel. You’ll need a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

What you’ll get

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (08:30–17:00)

What you’ll bring

You will be a confident trainer and assessor with strong occupational knowledge of the Health and Social Care sector. You will enjoy supporting learners to connect theory with practice and will be committed to maintaining high-quality assessment standards, regulatory compliance and a person-centred approach to learning.

What we’re looking for

  • A1 Assessor Award or equivalent, such as TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33 — essential.
  • Level 3 or above qualification in Health and Social Care; Level 5 is preferred — essential.
  • Current, extensive and relevant vocational experience in Health and Social Care settings — essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage your own diary and prioritise workload effectively — essential.
  • Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle — essential.
  • Internal Quality Assurer Award, such as D34 or IQA — desirable.
  • Experience of working remotely — desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships — desirable.
