We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Care Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional home care services in the St Albans Area. We are a 100% Private packages business. We are looking for someone who has already grown a home care office with private clients and can do it again. If you have grown a domiciliary care office, built a private client base, and led a team through CQC inspections with strong outcomes, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities- CQC Compliance: Lead all aspects of compliance, ensuring the service is inspection-ready at all times.
- Business Growth: Drive the growth of new private customers by building strong relationships with GPs, hospital discharge teams, social prescribers, and other community groups through St Albans and Hertsmere.
- Network: Be the face of Bluebird Care St Albans at networking events and community activities.
- Leadership & Team Management: Manage, recruit, and develop our amazing team into a stronger, more focused unit driving the retention of outstanding staff.
- Performance Reporting: Take ownership of KPIs, tracking care hours, and growth opportunities, ensuring the team are trained to be the best they can be.
Proven track record of successfully growing a domiciliary care service with private customers. Previous experience as a Registered Manager with the CQC (3 years minimum), strong knowledge of CQC regulations, inspection process, and the single assessment framework. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it). Commercial awareness with experience in marketing, networking, and business development. Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
